Meet the Servants! - Washday in the Yard - Judges Lodgings Museum

Ever imagine life as a Victorian servant? Now you can try it out for real! Meet our housemaid and help take on the job of doing the laundry in our newly restored servant's yard and washhouse.

From the copper to the dolly tub, rinsing and pegging out on the line, be prepared to use some 'elbow grease' as we experience life in the Judges' Lodgings before piped water or electricity.

Activity is free but admission charges apply to adults if you wish to visit the rest of the museum.
