West Tower is an award-winning, exclusive-use country house venue, set within ten acres of beautiful Lancashire countryside in Aughton, near Ormskirk.

Well known as one of Lancashire’s leading wedding venues, West Tower is also a fantastic setting for a wide variety of corporate events, private celebrations and special occasions.  From company away days, conferences and meetings to awards dinners, Christmas parties, networking events, product launches and team celebrations, West Tower offers the space, flexibility and privacy to create an event that feels a little different from the traditional hotel or conference venue.

At the heart of West Tower is the light-filled Ballroom, with floor-to-ceiling windows and views across the surrounding countryside.  Accommodating up to 145 guests for a seated event and up to 200 for an evening reception, it can be adapted for everything from presentations and conferences to private dining and large-scale celebrations.

For smaller meetings and breakout sessions, the Conservatory and Leather Lounge provide additional spaces, while the Cellar Bar, terrace and extensive gardens offer plenty of opportunities for relaxed drinks, networking and outdoor activities.

Exclusive use means your guests can enjoy the house and grounds privately, with a dedicated team on hand to help plan and deliver your event.  In-house chefs can create menus to suit the occasion, from working lunches and informal dining to canapés, three-course dinners and evening food.

For events extending into the evening, West Tower has 27 individually styled bedrooms, allowing guests to stay overnight and enjoy breakfast together the following morning.  And, of course, weddings remain at the heart of West Tower.  Couples can enjoy exclusive use of the venue, beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, exceptional food and a dedicated wedding coordinator to help bring every detail of their day together.
