The Ribble Valley Scuplture Trail
About The Ribble Valley Scuplture Trail
The Ribble Valley Sculpture Trail was launched in 1993. The first of its kind to be established in Lancashire, which now includes over 20 permanent works of art. The trail travels through Brungerley Park and Cross Hill Quarry, a local nature reserve managed by the Lancashire Wildlife trust, only a mile from Clitheroe town centre.
Selected artists have created unique artworks, working with local community groups, responding to the local environment and its rich heritage. Building a substantial body of work for visitors to enjoy.
The aim of the trail is to make art accessible to all. By creating a free cultural activity it encourages people to enjoy the park, explore the outdoors and keep fit whilst seeing the natural beauty of the area and wildlife.
