Lakewood Cottages are located on a small farm, just outside the village of Galgate, midway between the historic city of Lancaster and the market town of Garstang. Ideally placed for exploring Lancaster, The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, Morecambe Bay, Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Positioned in a picturesque lakeside/woodland setting, the cottages enjoy their own private lakeside setting with fishing welcome on the lake. All four cottages are quality four star gold award and are suitable for families of varying sizes. Stone Barn sleeps 6, Mill Cottage sleeps 4, Granary Cottage sleeps 2 and the Stable sleeps 4. Less than two hundred yards away is one of the most beautiful stretches of the Lancaster Canal, which along with the lake and surrounding countryside offers a multitude of pleasant and enjoyable walks.
