About Cart Shed Tearoom at Browsholme Hall

Lovingly restored using the original farm buildings, the Cart Shed Tearoom is the perfect pit stop on a day out in the beautiful Forest of Bowland.

Bask in the sunshine whilst enjoying a cold drink, or cosy up inside and gaze through the large arched windows, either way you’ll soak up the fabulous atmosphere the Tearoom has to offer.

Not only that, the Cart Shed is also a dog friendly café in Lancashire, meaning you can bring your best friend along too before enjoying a stroll around the private lake.

The Cart Shed Tearoom is open alongside the Hall from 10:00 - 16:00 on tour days.  See website for tour days.

Browsholme Hall has been the ancestral home of the Parkers, Bowbearers of the Forest of Bowland since the time Tudor times.  Today it is still the family's home and visitors are invited to enjoy its magnificent architecture, fabulous interiors and antique furnishings, set in the stunning landscape of the Hodder Valley.

The gardens and grounds are laid out in the style of Capability Brown with, open vistas, lawns, a ha-ha, a series of lakes, terraces and a 'wilderness' undergoing restoration.
