The Ultimate Guide for Bake Off fans in Lancashire

The Great British Bake Off is back on our screens and with National Baking week starting this week, we thought it's the perfect time to highlight some of Lancashire's baking gems.

Lancashire's Star Bakers

Beurre Pattiserie

Authentic French techniques meet Lancashire warmth at Beurre Patisserie, which is founded by talented baker and Bake Off: The Professionals finalist Raf Perussi. Having trained at Le Cordon Bleu and worked as a tourrier and pastry chef at some of London's top establishments, it's no surprise that his pastry perfections are often a sell-out.

Nestled at the bottom of the crescent in St Annes, the patisserie is perfectly positioned for you to enjoy the rest of the local area. So, whether you are heading for a leisurely day by the coast or just looking for a quiet place to escape, the inviting space and delicious treats at Beurre Pattiserie make the perfect addition to any visit.

Ruff Puff is returning to Cedar Farm

Another successful Lancashire Great British Bake Off star is 2012 winner – John Whaite. One thing for sure is that John knows exactly how to cook up a storm and is still doing just that as he is about to open his brand-new bakehouse here in Lancashire.

The brand-new Ruff Puff Bakehouse is opening 31st October and will be returning to the fantastic Cedar Farm. The unit makeover has begun and will soon be home to both the Ruff Puff Brownies and Ruff Puff Bakehouse Viennoiserie pastries. Whether it's smelling the delicious cookies, admiring the on-site pastry laminating process or just enjoying a treat baked from a Bake Off winner – we've got a feeling this next chapter is going to be a popular one.

Have you visited Cedar Farm yet? Home to a range of independent businesses, animals and producers – it’s a full day of fun.
