It’s here, the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and the sun is shining!

Make the most of the extra long weekend and have fun in Lancashire. Across the county you will find lots of great events and things to, you'll be spoilt for choice. Here's a selection of great events to keep you busy having fun.

Betsy Bumble Bee 2019 at Samlesbury Hall
15 - 25 April - Bring the kids along this half term to the fantastic interactive storytelling workshop with the hilarious Betsy Bumble Bee. The talks are FREE with admission and are at 11.30am and 2pm.

The Great Show Spectacular at Thornton Hall Country Park
19 April - Head over to Thornton Hall Country Park on Good Friday for some amazing aerial circus performances to your favourite soundtrack as well as Circus Skills Workshops. All the usual farm activities will be on as usual. Open from 10am.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Penny Farm
19 - 22 April - Meet their horses & ponies, enjoy a stroll around the paddocks and take part in their fun activities – groom a pony, face painting & games. Join in the Easter Egg Hunt & Easter craft activities.

Crafty Vintage : Easter Fair : The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa
19 - 22 April - Award winning Crafty Vintage will be taking over the Last Drop Village. A huge selection of vintage and handmade gifts and treats from the finest makers, creators and collectors in land. Live entertainment, street food, cocktails & mocktails too. A fabulous day out with lots of merriment and free family Easter themed fun.

The Big Easter Hunt at Ribby Hall Village
Saturday 20 April - Enjoy a whole load of family fun at this spectacular Easter event. Help Dizzy the Duck find her lost Easter colours and collect your chocolate treat.

Easter Egg Hunt at The Judges Lodgings, Lancaster
20 - 21 April - Go on an eggcellent Easter egg hunt around the house to win a prize.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Brockholes Nature Reserve
20 - 22 April - Join them for an Easter Weekend breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Children will receive a full cooked breakfast with a drink, get the chance to meet the bunny, take any photos and receive a chocolate Easter Egg.

Easter Sunday Family Funday - Guy's Thatched Hamlet
21 April - The Easter Bunny will be hosting the Funday which begins at 12noon with Egg Rolling, Guy's Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Bonnet and the best decorated egg competition.. and lots more fun.

Giant Easter Duck Trail at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre
Until 22 April - Get the family together and spend some time in the great outdoors with the Giant Easter Duck Trail this half term. 25 giant ducks have been hidden around our wetlands and they need your help to find them all.

Easter Egg Rolling - Avenham & Miller Park, Preston
22 April - This year’s Egg Rolling will bring you an exciting and varied programme of workshops, street theatre and live music as well the traditional Easter Bonnet competition. But most importantly don’t forget to bring your Easter eggs to roll down the hill.

Easter Holidays at Thornton Hall Farm Country Park
Until 26 April - Each year Thornton Hall Country Park strive to include even more new, fun activities in visitor’s admission price. This Easter, sees the opening of the ‘bounce-tastic’ Jumping Pillow Park!

Zog Activity Trail - Gisburn Forest
Following on from the success of The Highway Rat, Gruffalo Spotters and Stick Man family walking trails, Zog is the new activity trail for families to enjoy at the Forest of Bowland for 2019.
