This brand new exhibition showcases some of Lancashire's best archaeological finds. The objects featured belonged to people in Lancashire spanning thousands of years, from a 4000-year-old gold armlet buried by our prehistoric ancestors to a thimble lost in the 1600s.
Curated by Lancashire County Council Museum Service, the exhibition delves back through Lancashire's history, exploring the stories surrounding these objects and how they came to be buried in the ground.
Clitheroe Castle Museum is managed by Lancashire County Council's Museum Service on behalf of Ribble Valley Borough Council.
