Step back in time at the Carnforth 1940s Weekend at Carnforth Station, famously featured in Brief Encounter.
This free, family friendly celebration fills the station and surrounding streets with vintage charm. Live music, military vehicles, vintage cars and tractors, model railways, a lively funfair, best dressed competitions, jive classes, a vintage catwalk, 40s radio broadcasts, children's miniature train rides, stalls, and plenty of nostalgic food and drink.
Marking 80 years since the filming of the iconic wartime romance, it's a vibrant, atmospheric weekend that honours both local heritage and the enduring magic of the 1940s.
