Based in Rawtenstall, Marl Pits Leisure Centre is home to a main swimming pool, smaller teaching pool, a gym and fitness studio.
In addition to swimming lessons, join a Splash & Slide, a family fun session with an inflatable obstacle course or the Mats and Balls sessions, open to members and non-members.
Train on the cardio kit with fantastic views of the Valley, or use the multi-purpose Rig for strength training. There are multiple squat racks and weights area so you’re sure to get a full workout in.

From M65: Exit junction 8 taking the A56/A6068 exit to Bury/Manchester/M66/Clitheroe. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A56 heading to Manchester/Bury/M66/Accrington/A679. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Blackburn Road/A680 heading to Haslingden. Slight left at Hud Rake. Turn left at Rake Foot. Slight right to stay on Rake Foot. Continue onto Kirk Hill Road. Continue onto Haslingden Old Road and then onto Newchurch Road. Marl Pits Pool and Sports is signposted and is on the left.From M66: Continue onto A56 and take slight right at A682 (signs for Rawtenstall). Slight left at St Marys Way/A682. Take the 1st right onto St Marys Way. Continue onto Bank Street and turn right at Grange Crescent, and slight right at Grange Road. Turn right at Newchurch Road. Marl Pits Pool & Sports is signposted and is on the left.Approach from M66 at Rawtenstall. Follow signs from Burnley, turn right at traffic lights by Ramshead Public House. Marl Pits is half mile up Newchurch Road on left-hand side.
