Climbing sensation offering action-packed fun which all the family can enjoy! The centre has 20 individual climbing wall challenges of various designs and difficulty, testing agility and courage in different ways. With 24 climbs to attempt and a café area overlooking the climbing arena, the whole family are guaranteed to be entertained.
There are also two very special attractions – the infamous Vertical Drop Slide and the Stairway to Heaven.
Clip ‘n Climb is perfect for all ages, suitable for adults and juniors aged 4 years and upwards. It is also an ideal venue for entertaining corporate events, networking, team building, as well as private parties for special occasions.
No climbing experience is necessary, full briefing session is given before you enter Clip ‘n Climb and they provide the equipment. Members of staff clip climbers onto walls with lockable karabiners and their automatic belay devices take in the slack as you climb and then lower you gently to the ground. Supervisors are close at hand at all times for assistance and encouragement.
The Clip ‘n Climb experience includes a 20 minute introduction, harness fitting and safety briefing then a full 55 minutes climbing, finally 5 minutes to remove harness and exit the arena. At Clip ‘n Climb, they make your whole experience as smooth as possible, from booking to climbing it’ll be a breeze.
The Vertical Drop Slide is their only challenge where you are not clipped onto the climbing rope. Sliders firstly put on a racing suit and safety helmet. You then lie on the bottom of the slide and take hold of the t-bar, connected to the winch that will lift you towards the top of the 6 metre drop.
The slide has a number markers to see how high you can stay on. The minimum height requirement is 120cm. This is a fantastic fun challenge that requires reasonable strength and grip to reach the top.
