A walking tour of Lancaster.

414 years ago, a group of men and women were taken to the moor outside Lancaster and hanged.  Their crime?  Witchcraft.  Their story became one of England's most notorious trials of dark magic and the devil.

Join an afternoon guided walk through the streets of Lancaster, where their fate was sealed, from imprisonment to trial and execution.  Hear the history behind the legends, and discover why this small English city still carries the shadow of the Pendle Witches four centuries later.

Beginning at the imposing John O'Gaunt Gatehouse, Lancaster Castle's main entrance, the tour winds through the city's atmospheric streets before concluding at The Golden Lion on Moor Lane.

Duration: approximately two hours.
