Towneley Park Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Burnley Council is delighted to announce that after SELL-OUT events for the past 5 years, the annual Towneley Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza will return to Towneley Park on Thursday 5th November 2026 and we would love for you to come and join us again at Towneley Park.

There will be lots to do including the funfair, hot food and drinks, music and games from the main stage, a Fire Performer and TWO professional firework displays.

Event Timings

Gates & Funfair Open – 6:00pm

Bonfire Lit – 6:45pm

Junior Fireworks Display – 7:15pm

Mega Fireworks Display – 8:15pm

Event Finishes – 9:00pm

Please note: There is strictly no parking in Towneley on the night without a pre-purchased parking ticket, these are sold on a first come first served basis and will sell out fast!

The event is non-profit. Ticket income covers the cost of staging the event.

No pets; no personal fireworks or sparklers; no alcohol.

Children under 2 years old – FREE

Riverside ‘Premium’ Parking – £10.00

Woodgrove Parking (with a short walk to the venue) – £8.00

Disabled Parking is also available at Riverside, subject to the purchase of a parking ticket.
