Northern Young Adult Literary Festival
About Northern Young Adult Literary Festival
Fox & Ink Books, formerly known as UCLan Publishing, has officially released the highly anticipated schedule for NYALitFest 2026.
The north's premier celebration of Young Adult literature will bring a vibrant array of authors, panel discussions, book signings, and creative makers under one roof. Organisers have curated a diverse schedule designed to tap into every corner of the YA fandom, from dark urban fantasies to light hearted romantic comedies.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet and hear from prominent figures in the literary world, including renowned authors Cynthia Murphy, Kate Weston and author and illustrator Mina Ikemoto Ghosh. Ghosh will discuss her breath taking, Japanese-inspired YA fantasy world, The Hellmakers, and share insights into her unique manga-style artwork and complex folklore.
In addition to the author panels and book signings, the festival marketplace will spotlight a curated selection of independent small businesses. Eager readers can explore vendor tables featuring hand-poured candles, custom bookmarks, fan art, and literary apparel from independent UK makers. Book sales will be managed by local independent bookshop, Ebb & Flo.
Ticket Information and festival passes for the day-long event are available. Due to high demand and limited seating capacity inside individual panel rooms at the Harrington Building, advance booking is highly recommended.
