About MADE IT 2026: The North West Graduate Art Prize
MADE IT 2026: The North West Graduate Art Prize brings together a new generation of emerging artists for a major group exhibition at The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery in Rawtenstall.
Presented by artist-led organisation Short Supply, MADE IT was created to support artists at the crucial point between graduating and establishing a professional creative practice. The 2026 edition features artists connected to universities and colleges across the North West and beyond.
Visitors can discover work spanning painting, sculpture, photography, installation, moving image and interdisciplinary practice, offering a snapshot of what emerging artistic practice in the region looks like today.
More than a traditional graduate exhibition, MADE IT creates opportunities for new artists to show ambitious work, reach wider audiences and build connections beyond university. For visitors, it is a chance to discover some of the artists shaping the next generation of creative practice across the North West.
