Grizedale Brook and Reservoir Amble

Starting at Grizedale Bridge, the trail descends gently into Grizedale Valley, winding through the tranquil woodland of Holme Wood.

Emerging at the base of the reservoir, where the route turns left and continues towards Slean End. After crossing a footbridge, the path begins a steady ascent towards the Barnacre masts, before finishing with a short road walk back to the car park.
