About Galliard Folk Dancers at Gawthorpe Hall
The wonderful Galliard Folk dancers will be performing a range of dances in period costume that date from the mid-1600s onwards.
Uplifting, energetic and a joy to watch Galliard bring the past to life and show how people loved to dance and have fun then, just like now. There is always an opportunity to join in and have a go yourself.
Performance times will be approximately at 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30, outside at the front of the Hall, weather dependant. If it rains, performances will be inside on the second floor. Due to the historic nature of the building there is no lift.
Gawthorpe Hall is part of Lancashire County Museum Service and Lancashire County Council's Cultural Services.
