About Carnes Fine Art Autumn Exhibition

Carnes Fine Art Autumn Exhibition arrives as a season of transformation; a time when the landscape changes colour, wildlife prepares for the coming winter, and the natural world seems to pause between abundance and rest.  This exhibition celebrates that remarkable transition through a collection of wildlife art, landscape painting and sculpture, bringing together artists whose work reflects the beauty, drama and fragility of the natural environment.

At the heart of the exhibition is the autumn landscape; rich rustic colours and burnished browns create a visual scene that is unmistakably seasonal.  Alongside the landscapes, wildlife takes centre stage. Autumn is a time of extraordinary activity: birds gather and migrate, deer move through changing woodland, mammals forage among fallen leaves, and creatures prepare for the colder months ahead.  Sculpture adds another dimension to the exhibition.  Working in bronze, wood and other materials, sculptors translate the forms of animals, birds, trees and the landscape into three-dimensional works.  A sculpture can capture movement in a single gesture, the alertness of a perched owl, the powerful presence of a stag, the poised form of a bird whilst also allowing the viewer to experience the work from different perspectives.

This exhibition is an invitation to look more closely, to notice the wildlife that shares our landscapes, to appreciate the changing character of the countryside, and to celebrate the artists who interpret that world through paint, bronze and aged oak.

Located at the art gallery located at Cedar Farm in Mawdesley for this celebration of autumn and the wonderful works created by the gallery artists.
