About Besom Broom Workshop
A besom broom is a type of broom traditionally made with twigs tied around a sturdy stick. Unlike modern flat brooms, besom brooms have a rounded shape, which makes them ideal for sweeping outdoor areas, such as gardens or patios.
Historically, besom brooms are associated with folklore and are often depicted in literature and film as the broom of choice for witches.
Using sustainably managed and harvested materials, you will use a range of tools to create your own besom broom, perfect for sweeping, rituals, or a great addition to your Halloween costume.
You must be aged 18 years or older to attend this course. Your workshop will last one hour. Time slots 10:00 - 11:00, 11:15 - 12:15, 13:00 - 14:00 and 14:15 - 15:15.
