Lunchtime Lectures - Dukes Theatre and Cinema

What’s behind the play? What inspired the writer? And what can a story tell us about the world we live in?

Lunchtime Lectures is a new series of relaxed, lively sessions exploring the ideas, histories, writers and themes behind some of the literary and theatrical works we know and love.
Led by academics and subject specialists, these aren't your traditional lectures. They're informal, interactive and designed to spark conversation, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share your thoughts and discover something new.
Running from 11am-1pm in the Dukes Gallery space, each session gives you time to explore a fascinating subject before having the option to stay for lunch and continue the conversation with fellow attendees.
Whether you're a theatregoer or just curious to learn something new, you're more than welcome to join.
Sessions are designed to be inclusive. Please let us know in advance if you have any access needs so that we can make the necessary adjustments.
