Creative Futures Taster Session: Monoprinting - The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery

Join us for this session to learn more about the upcoming Creative Futures Project and our plans for the next 3 years. Find out how you'll be able to get involved in festival production, sound and tech, curation, and exhibiting through a series of workshops, larger projects, and youth-led events.

In this taster session you'll do some mono-printing inspired by The Whitaker's collection and the unique architecture of the museum. After exploring our collection, you'll use images, shapes and details found throughout the building as inspiration, creating your own monoprints before drawing, painting and decorating. Explore mark-making, texture and pattern while experimenting with a range of creative techniques.

All materials provided. For ages 11-18.
