Monthly Art and Creative Workshops for Young People aged 14-19: Culture on Canvas with Artist Shailan Wynter - The Harris

Inspired by Black History Month, you will have the option to paint from pre-drawn canvases featuring influencial figures from Black History and culture or start with a blank canvas and create something completely of your own.

We will experiment with bright acrylic paint, palette knives, sponges and mark making techniques, whilst exploring the people, places, heritage, experiences and influences that mean something to you.

There are no rules and no experience needed, whether you want to celebrate your culture, take inspiration from Black History or simply create something you love, the canvas is yours.
