An Evening with She Drew the Gun - Lancaster Castle

Experience an intimate evening with the Merseyside artist, exploring stories, songs and poems from four albums and beyond.

She Drew The Gun began as the solo project of Wirral-born songwriter Louisa Roach, long before it evolved into the acclaimed full-band psych-pop outfit that won Glastonburys Emerging Talent Competition in 2016. At the heart of the project, however, has always been Roachs words: poetic, observant and often unafraid to confront the injustices and contradictions of modern life.

An Evening of Story, Poetry and Song returns to those intimate beginnings. Stripping away the full-band arrangements, Roach creates a more direct and personal encounter with her work, combining songs with poetry, spoken word and stories that illuminate the people, experiences and ideas behind them.

PLEASE NOTE: The Chapel in Lancaster Castle Keep is accessed via a small flight of stairs and unfortunately is not accessible by wheelchair users. This will be a seated concert.
