The Little Art School: Figurine Painting & Mini Sculptures - The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery

In this session, you'll be painting clay figurines and creating wire sculptures inspired by the artworks in our Sculpture Garden. You'll explore colour, shape, and texture as you bring the figurines to life with paint, and experiment with bending and shaping wire to design your own imaginative sculptures.

The Little Art School is a series of creative art workshops designed for home educated students. Led by specialist artists and facilitators, each session explores a different art form, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, and digital art. Students will experiment with a range of materials, learn new creative skills, and receive support to develop their ideas and bring them to life in a fun and inspiring environment.

Parents are welcome to accompany their children to the sessions.
