The Little Art School: Clay Figurines - The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery

In this session, we'll be creating clay figurines and mini artworks inspired by the museum and its collections. You'll explore different shapes, textures, and creative ideas as you design and make your own unique pieces. The finished figurines and artworks will become part of a special permanent display in our Whitaker Dolls House, allowing your creations to be enjoyed by future visitors to the museum.

The Little Art School is a series of creative art workshops designed for home educated students. Led by specialist artists and facilitators, each session explores a different art form, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, and digital art. Students will experiment with a range of materials, learn new creative skills, and receive support to develop their ideas and bring them to life in a fun and inspiring environment.

Parents are welcome to accompany their children to the sessions.
