Outreach Opera: Last Night of the Proms - Hoghton Tower

Outreach Opera and Bolton Hoover Brass Band return to Hoghton Tower for their spectacular Last Night of the Proms open-air concert, in the beautiful setting of the Wilderness Garden.

Gates open at 5.30pm with Outreach Opera taking to the stage at 6.30pm. The concert is set to end at 8.30pm.

Pack your picnics and bring your friends for this special musical event on the lawn. Performing some of the proms favourites including Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem, Sopranos Helen Latham and Georgina Rosanna Crowe will take you on a journey of popular opera melodies and songs from the musicals, for a show stopping proms you’ll never forget.

This is a fundraising event in aid of Hoghton Tower Preservation Trust (Registered Charity No. 508357). Thank you for your support in preserving and restoring this beautiful building and the grounds in which it stands.

Important Information

The event will take place outdoors on the lawn in the Wilderness Garden. Please dress for the weather and bring your own picnic blankets and low backed chairs. Please be considerate of your fellow audience members and avoid bringing umbrellas as these block the view of others. In case of rain, ponchos and raincoats are great and if the sun is shining, don’t forget your hat and sun cream!

You are welcome to bring your own picnic, however, our lovely tearoom will be open from 11am - 4pm, serving hot and cold drinks along with light refreshments before the performance begins.
