From Vimto and Jelly Babies to Chorley Cakes and Hotpot there is lots to discover in the regional fare and dishes that have characterised Lancashire over the years. This mouthwatering talk will pick out some of the fascinating stories that contribute to Lancashire's food and drink history. As an extra treat you can try a few handmade local Lancashire treats and have a glass of Vimto at the end! Emma Kay's book 'Foots, Lonks & Wet Nellies Lancashire's Food and Drink' will also be on sale, and she will be happy to sign a copy for you.

Please note: the food samples are all hand prepared by Emma Kay and use traditional ingredients including wheat, milk, animal fats, nuts and eggs. They are not suitable for coeliacs, vegans or those with food allergies or intolerances, please ask if unsure.
