About Lowther’s Folk & Roots Festival - Lowther Pavilion & Gardens

Our award-winning Folk Festival returns in 2026 for a weekend of free, live entertainment you don't want to miss.


Saturday: True Foxes, Rob Barrat, The Woolverstones, Betty Kendrick, Scolds Bridle, Clive Marquis-Carr, Briar & Bramble, Steve Canavan, James J Turned, Kind Hearted Thieves, Trouble at Mill, and more to be confirmed. Also join us on Saturday evening for Lowther’s Folk Ceilidh with Blackbeards Tea Party.

Sunday: Lytham St Annes Shanty Crew, Frogs of Darkness, Mary Hassett & Paul Whiteley, Scolds Bridle, Andrew Green, Richard Hitchins & Nigel Marshall, Sunderland Point Shanty Crew, The Mizzen Crew, and more to be confirmed.

Other events & workshops: Fylde Folklore Society Talks, Mizzen Crew Rope Pulling, Poet’s Corner with Rachael Irvine, and Morris Dancing.
