What's in store at Pleasure Beach Resort this summer - and all the ways to save on visits

Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort is making sure there’s plenty on offer for those looking to make the most of summer.

Having already opened a record-breaking new ride, Aviktas, earlier this year, the seaside attraction is continuing its 130th season celebrations with a bumper line up of events.

Here’s a closer look at all in store for the remainder of the summer holidays:

Summer festival:

Until August 16th, the park is hosting its Summer Festival, featuring live music from KPOP Superstars and a Bruno Mars cover band, alongside entertainment catered for families - all of which is included for free with Pleasure Beach tickets.

Late Riding & Fireworks:

On August 29, Pleasure Beach will host a late night riding event, giving guests up to 12 hours in the park, and closing out summer with a bang, with a dedicated firework display.

Twilight Thrills:

On August 15 and 22 visitors can ride into the night as the park opens for 11 hours, from 10am until 9pm.

8pm weekday

Continuing its extension to opening hours, every Wednesday, the park will be open until 8pm, meaning guests can enjoy ten hours of riding - the longest of any weekday.

90 years of ice shows

The park commemorates the historic landmark with two new productions. Hot Ice XC is joined by the brand-new Alice Frozen in a Wonderland of Dreams, which is free to watch for anyone with a Pleasure Beach Ticket - both shows run until September 10.

Summer of slime

The UK’s only Nickelodeon Land is bringing slime to summer. The month-long event is complete with interactive games and chances to get drenched in slime.

Pleasure Beach have paired the extended line up of events and entertainment with a host of new ticket options and discounts, designed to add even better values to bookings this summer:

£25 return ticket

Anyone visiting Pleasure Beach during August can book a return visit for the heavily discounted price of £25 - the lowest price available for an All You Can Ride ticket. This offer can be redeemed any time during the 2026 season.

Afternoon ticket

Guests visiting the park for the final four hours of the day can grab 2 tickets for £60 - half the price of standard on-the-day tickets and provides an ideal option for visitors looking to explore wider areas of the town during the first half of the day.

Flex Pass

Those looking to enjoy the sun away from the rides can purchase a Flex Pass for £18. This ticket, new for 2026, includes non-rider access to all on-park entertainment, as well as attractions like Pleasure Beach Express and Chinese Puzzle Maze.

Local discounts

Locals living within a FY or PR residency can take advantage of discounts, offering savings as much as £25 compared to the gate price. Further details can be found on Pleasure Beach’s dedicated ‘Wylde Coasters’ web page.

Hotel tickets

There’s also ways to save for those visiting from out of town - Pleasure Beach is home to two hotels, The Big Blue and Boulevard, and this summer, any stay between Sunday and Friday includes a free ticket onto park.

Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort said: “Blackpool has a history of being a hot-spot during the summer holidays. Our aim this year is not only to continue the  tradition, but take it to the next level with longer hours, more entertainment and even better value.”
