The St Annes Monthly Artisan Market builds momentum
St Annes Monthly Artisan Market builds momentum with successful second event in newly refurbished square
The St Annes Monthly Artisan Market returned on Saturday 9th May to the newly refurbished St Annes Square, Lytham St Annes, delivering a lively and successful day that firmly establishes the event as a growing feature in the town’s monthly calendar.
The market attracted a strong and steady turnout throughout the day, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of St Annes. Visitors enjoyed a wide range of handmade goods, artisan crafts, and local produce, with traders reporting very positive trading conditions. Several stallholders achieved excellent sales, with some completely selling out of their stock.
The event highlighted the continued strength and appeal of independent businesses, providing a valuable platform for small traders to showcase their work, connect with the community, and grow their customer base. The response from both traders and visitors reflected strong support for the concept and its future development.
Now established as a monthly fixture, the St Annes Artisan Market takes place on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10 am to 4 pm.
Organisers are committed to its ongoing growth and evolution, which will become a key highlight within the wider programme of events for St Annes Square.
The newly refurbished square continues to develop as a welcoming and dynamic public space, supporting community activity, culture, and independent enterprise at the heart of the town.
