Robin Hood arrives in style!
Last week, the annual Dukes park show had its epic opening in Williamson Park. On Thursday, we had a magical night welcoming a few special guests to attend the Dress Run. The sun was out, the refreshment huts were in full swing, and the cast and crew were on form for their first foray into the woods!
Friday was the big opening night and the crowd was buzzing. It was incredible to see families and friends of all ages accompanying Rob through the park and enjoying the brilliant scenery, the toe-tapping songs, and the hysterical interval entertainment from the world’s most eligible prince!
The crew have incorporated more interactive elements this year. The Community Chorus had a blast spreading some chaos, and the little ones had a chance to test their archery skills. The choreography is looking sharp, and the arrows are looking soft (thankfully)!
Now that the cast and crew are fully moved in for the next five weeks, here’s some brand-new photos of the production.
And there’s plenty more surprises that we don’t want to spoil just yet! Join us for the immersive experience as Rob faces off against the Sheriff on his home turf - the woods!
