One of Brierfield’s most popular festive events is returning this December, with an incredible line-up of independent traders, delicious street food and plenty of Christmas magic. Northlight Estates is looking forward to the return of its hugely popular Northlight Christmas Market, taking place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th December 2026, from 10am to 8pm each day.

Following the success of previous years, the historic former Brierfield Mill will once again be transformed into a sparkling festive destination, with more than 30 stalls bringing together independent businesses, talented makers and an incredible selection of food from around the world.

With free entry, free parking and something for the whole family, the two-day event promises to be a fantastic way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Forget the usual high street Christmas shopping! Visitors will be spoilt for choice with a great selection of independent traders offering everything from handmade gifts, jewellery and scented candles to home accessories, festive wreaths, skincare, artwork and children's toys.

Among the traders will be Esme Candles, Gaia Jewellery, Tropic Skincare, Edge Lane Books, and Chewy's Craft Creations, alongside many other talented independent makers. Visitors can also discover botanical skincare from Balmy Apothecary, fragrances from BK Fragrances and a selection of gifts from PIKZL, while Creations by Riz will be offering glitter tattoos and henna.

Street food lovers are in for a treat, with an impressive line-up of vendors serving flavours from around the world.

From Greek gyros courtesy of Just Gyros and Indian street food from The Kashmiri Guys to Italian favourites from Fratellis Italian, freshly made pizza from Ribble Valley Pizza and Daggi Pizza, there will be something for everyone to try.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there will be freshly made waffles, donuts, flapjacks, cookies, brownies, cakes, festive yule logs and indulgent crumble desserts from traders including Waffles & Dreams, Syrup & Flour, Tilly Jo Bakes, Yummy Mummy Bakes and The Roaming Butler.

The Tipsy Truck will also be returning, serving festive drinks and tipples to add a little extra Christmas cheer and the on site Black Sheep Coffee shop will be open throughout.

With twinkling lights, a wonderful atmosphere and the impressive surroundings of the beautifully restored former mill, Northlight provides a truly unique setting for a Christmas celebration.
