Highest Point Festival

Following a hugely successful 2021 weekender, Highest Point will return to Williamson Park in Lancaster in May 2022.

Over 35,000 people attended the festival in 2021 that alongside standout production featured a variety of world class artists including Rudimental, Rag N Bone Man and Rick Astley across the four days, with the Lancaster crowds also treated to a spectacular array of music, arts, performances and food and drink offerings.

Thousands of attendees will be treated to an array of acts in the stunning, 54-acre grounds of Williamson Park in Lancaster, including headliners; Grammy award winning chart toppers, Clean Bandit, and rock legends Kaiser Chiefs, joining music royalty and former ‘The Verve’ frontman Richard Ashcroft

Saturday tickets are sold out, along with the two and three day ticket packages, but general release tickets for the festival are still available for Thursday and Friday.  via Highest Point's website.




Highest Point has also confirmed that The Big Family Day Out is back for its fourth year at the Lancaster-based event in May, with festival style activities designed for kids of all ages. 


The Big Family Day Out will take place on the final day of the festival, on Sunday 15th May in Williamson Park. 


The event will be a day full of fun and laughter for the whole family to take in the various sights and sounds of Highest Point, with a different kind of superstar lineup. Once inside the event Hartbeeps, the original music storytellers and creators of multi-sensory play, will be running sessions all day for the young ones to enjoy, whilst Magical Story Jars provide adventure-themed crafty story creation. 


And for those wanting some more music-focused activities, there will be dancing down in the woods to disco classics, making instruments out of recycled rubbish workshop or learning to drum with the samba specialists, Batala.


As well as the dedicated family activities, live music will continue on from the festival weekend on both the Main Stage and The Chris Glaba Memorial Stage for all the family to enjoy, with additional interactive activities spanning the whole of Williamson Park plus, guests will have access to Lancaster's very own legendary butterfly house and mini zoo.


Tickets to The Big Family Day Out are now on  sale and can be purchased from here for £10 per adult, £5 per child (age 6-17), with kids under 5 going free. 


Full weekend tickets which will give attendees access across Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May 2022 are available costing £135 for an adult, or £115 for a two-day ticket, granting access to the festival on Friday and Saturday. 

Individual day tickets are also set to go on sale, with Thursday tickets starting at £42.50, and Friday day and Saturday day tickets starting at £55 per person.
