Jane Horrocks Presents Yolk and Aliens - The Whitaker

The northern premiere of Yolk and Aliens, a film by Jane Horrocks in collaboration with Francesca Levi (video artist) and Molly Vivian (musician). In the film, Horrocks has created a world of memory, utilising home video footage of her daughters birth and infancy, juxtaposed with footage of her mothers decline into Alzheimers. The jumble of memory of both stories are surprisingly similar in their non linear presentation. This exploration is coloured with collage effect depiction and archive footage.
