Blackpool’s annual celebration of Britain’s armed forces has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The traditional and much loved Egg Rolling annual event is cancelled for 2020 due to the Covid19 virus.

From 5pm Friday 20 March 2020, The Harris in Preston will temporarily close its doors due to the Covid-19 virus.

Due to the escalating coronavirus pandemic and new Government advice over large-scale gatherings, we are sorry to announce that this year’s Pride Blackpool festival has been cancelled.

It is with much regret that we announce the postponement of the Blackburn Cathedral Flower Festival planned for June this year.

During these troubling times two of Blackpool’s venues, the Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens have joined forces to ‘put people in touch’ with each other. Both venues are asking followers and their email subscribers to reach out and offer help to others in the community.

In response to the Prime Minister’s statement yesterday evening, we regret to inform you Blackpool Grand, along with other UK Theatres will close today (Tuesday, 17 March 2020).
