What’s on this spring at Martin Mere

From fascinating otter talks and feeds to exciting adventure play areas, WWT Martin Mere is the perfect destination for families looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Let little explorers loose in one of the two play areas, including the brand-new wet play zone, ideal for climbing, swinging, splashing and sliding. For an extra adventure, take to the water with a guided boat tour or paddle through the wetlands on a self-guided canoe safari.

Curious minds will love pond dipping sessions, running on weekends and during school holidays. Discover a hidden world beneath the surface, from water boatmen and pond skaters to newts, what will you find?

Gozzle

From 20 March - 31 May, WWT Martin Mere is also teaming up with Macmillan Children’s Books to explore the wonderful world of wetlands with Gozzle, from Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie’s freshly hatched picture book.

Inspired by Gozzle, the adventure at Martin Mere brings storytelling off the page and into the wetlands through an interactive trail, exploration, and imagination. It’s a joyful spring adventure for children and their grown-ups!
