Organisers of the award-winning Chorley Flower Show have taken the decision to cancel this year’s event.

Blackpool Grand Theatre, like many arts organisations across the world, has been busy moving hundreds of touring shows into a new Autumn/Winter 2020 season.

Chorley Council have announced that two of their popular annual events are to be cancelled due to the current coronavirus crisis.

From Wednesday 13 May the Government is allowing people to “exercise outside as many times each day as they wish” and stating that “people may drive to outdoor open spaces irrespective of distance, so long as they respect social distancing guidance while they are there”.

Blackpool’s annual summer air show has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
