Ashfia is a Manchester-based Artist and a student of Tezhip (Traditional, illumination art). Her work is mainly floral, pattern-based and often illuminated in 24k Gold leaf or Shell Gold.
She has created many privately commissioned pieces of work and has exhibited at The Whitaker, Dave Pearson, and The Whitworth Art Galleries. Ashfia also works with the Muslim Arts and Cultural Festival each year to provide Art workshops for the local communities.
Her workshops are always popular as they are relaxing and enjoyable - you will learn something new and to take with you, not just the experience but also a piece of artwork created by you.
