Ascarium SEA LIFE Blackpool – 12 October – 3 November
Join in the spooky fun as SEA LIFE goes from an Aquarium to an Ascarium this Halloween (12th October - 3rd November), with Sea Witches, spells and creepy sea creatures, it's bound to be a treat!

Autumn Steam Gala, East Lancashire Railway – 18 – 20 October
Favourites from the East Lancashire Railway's home fleet will be joining special guest locomotives for an all steam spectacular. Take the opportunity to travel up and down the line on a beautifully restored heritage engine!

Fern Brady: Power & Chaos, The Dukes – 18 October
Featured in Vogue as one of the Top 5 Female Comedians as well as the Telegraphs top 5 young comedians to watch, Fern's career has gone stratospheric in the last 18 months. She's had viral success with her BBC Life Lessons, stormed the Australian comedy scene and supported Frankie Boyle and Katherine Ryan on Tour.

Zombie Nightmare, The Mall – 18-19 October
The UK’s most terrifying Zombie experience is set to return to Blackburn this October.
Zombie Nightmare, an hour-long post- apocalyptic fight for survival, was a huge hit with our shoppers in 2018 and has since won the title of the UK’s Best Zombie Experience!

Hocus Pocus, The Regent Cinema – 18 October
Watch this classic family film on the big screen. Follow Max Dennison, his sister Dani and new friend Allison as they take on 300 year old witches, with only a talking cat, a book of spells and the 21st century on their side.

Illuminations Tram Tours – until 3 November
One of the most popular ways to see the Illuminations is on one of our non-stop tours on our Illuminated or classic Heritage Trams. Regular Tours depart from Pleasure Beach Heritage Tram Stop every evening from Switch-On time until 9pm (10pm Sat).

Preston's International Film Festival 2019
Film fans are in for a treat with the arrival of Preston’s International Film Festival 2019.
The event, organised by the Worldwise Learning Centre at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), will screen nine foreign language films between Monday 14 October and Sunday 20 October.

Halloween Fest, WWT Martin Mere – 19 October – 3 November
This October Half Term have a spooktacular day at Martin Mere’s Halloween Fest. Pumpkin carving, pumpkin hunt, canoe scare-fari and much more.

Halloween Jars Craft, Brockholes Nature Reserve – 19-21 October
Come along and get creative this weekend in their drop in craft session. Make spooky Halloween Jars ready to decorate your home for the trick or treaters! This is a drop in activity so there is no need to book, just come along.

NICKELODEON SLIMEFEST 2019
Filled with SLIME, MUSIC and MAYHEM join Nickelodeon for the biggest and slimiest event of the year here in Blackpool! Packed full of top music acts, special guests, your favourite Nickelodeon stars and most importantly, SLIME!

Pop-Up Story Cave, The Dukes – 19 October
Join storyteller Gav Cross, who will be at The Dukes, weaving tales of wonder and delight, all in his immersive Pop-Up Story Cave.

Trick or Treat Quest – 19,24,26,31 October
It's taken the Wicked Witch 12 long months to escape the Halloween Spook Zone and this year is determined to scare, shock, and steal all the Halloween treats. Join in for a thrilling interactive Halloween quest, which returns for a second instalment in 2019.

Lightpool Festival 2019
Blackpool's award-winning Lightpool Festival is returning this October half-term with two weeks of extraordinary free entertainment. The festival, which will take place between October 11 and 26, will provide an amazing mix of live performance and light-based art installations.

Marsh Mill - 225th Birthday 2019 – 19-20 October
Marsh Mill, built in 1794 is a Tower Mill, one of the best in the UK with working machinery. It offers a unique introduction to milling of a bygone age. There are tours to enjoy and artefacts to see as well as workshops and events throughout the year.

Northern Soul at Darwen Market – 19 October
