Baby Boo Takeover day is all about fun and sensory experiences for babies and young children aged 0 - 4 years. Visit and discover the secret palace and much more.
Waterfoot's Secret Palace, a wonderful sensory installation in the theatre, themed around an ancient exotic palace, featuring projections, live singing, and heaps of beautiful treasure and instruments to explore. Created and performed by Sue Auty, Zoe Harty (Baby Boo) and Sorrel Harty (Shared Sounds). Lots of water play and live music in the garden. Fingers crossed for a fine day.
The cafe will be open all day with refreshments, a lovely space to chill out and discover the different stalls. Swapshop for baby clothes and toys, bring your swaps and go home with something new. Early Years Music Fun will be selling beautiful handmade fabric play items. Collect your free Book Start pack to take home. Meet Charlotte from Motherhood Understood, offering expert support for new parents.
The event will be a rolling timetable of activities, so there will always be something to join in with whenever you arrive. Refreshments available throughout the day.
