Join artist Diane Muldowney in this photography workshop to improve your skills, using the East Lancashire Railway as inspiration!
During this 'Railway 200' celebration weekend, you'll meet at The Whitaker Museum to see Diane's exhibition 'Tracks Through Time' and to learn the basics of photography, before walking down to Rawtenstall Station. Once at the station, you'll be guided by Diane to take photographs of the many trains and staff coming through the station. There is a café / bar in the station where you are able to purchase refreshments after the session.
This workshop is open to everyone regardless of ability or technology but we do recommend that you have and bring along a digital camera for the best results. It will also go ahead regardless of the weather – please be prepared.
