It’s Pride Month, and as a county, Lancashire is ready to celebrate.

Pride Month takes place each June due to the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots which took place in New York, 55 years ago. The events and parades that take place to celebrate Pride are open to all LGBTQ+ community members and their allies as a celebration of love, acceptance and solidarity.

Home to the Kings Castle of the North, Lancaster has had a strong royal connection for centuries. So what better way to celebrate the recent royal visit from King Charles III than with a stroll around this beautiful historic city.
