Blackpool Pleasure Beach is celebrating its 125th anniversary year with the opening of a new coffee shop that has links to the very beginnings of the world-famous amusement park.  

The line-up is announced as it’s revealed more than 30 artists will perform across the six-day festival taking place in the grounds of historic Lytham Hall from Wednesday August 25 to Bank Holiday Monday August 30.

Nature-lovers across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City Region are being invited to participate in a global citizen science project, the City Nature Challenge, by submitting wildlife observations from each region.
