New Adul Theatre by Jacqueline Harris.
Slowing Down to the Speed of Light explores an adult ADHD diagnosis through playful and provocative storytelling of a woman, untangling a lifetime of tales while a girl from the future searches for an ancestor lost in faerie. A minstrel plays a song he's never heard before and the Lady of the Lake keeps a promise. New stories are up for grabs and there are choices to be made, but will it be too late? With original music.
Jacqueline Harris is a Lancashire based storyteller, story gatherer, theatre maker and writer. She often collaborates with other artists, musicians and film makers to experiment with new ways of doing this though performance, print, installations and workshops.
Maja Bugge is a Norwegian cellist and composer, based in Lancaster. She has created a large body of work, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with others.
What the audience had to say about Where We Land:
'I was seduced and then spellbound.'
'A beautiful interweaving of folklore, personal story and landscape.'
'Very atmospheric.'
