If you're looking for an evening of fun and laughter, then look no further than Fylde Coast Players' production of The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle.
The snappy title gives you a clue as to what to expect. But those of you with good memories (it was ten years ago), may remember FCP's last Farndale play when the indomitable ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Dramatic Society, took on a murder mystery whodunit, with alarming results, which had the audience in stiches.
In this play, within a play, the ladies are back. This time taking on a spine-chilling mystery, a sort of The Rocky Horror Show without the music but with vigorous sound effects, unfortunately not always in the right place. With wobbly sets, missed cues and mixed-up lines, this tale of murder and mayhem is guaranteed to bring the house down, or at least a substantial part of the set.
Written by David McGillivray & Walter Zerlin Jnr.
This amateur production of The Haunted Through Lounge and Recessed Dining Nook at Farndale Castle is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
