A free, interactive exhibition inside a train is returning to Lancashire after a fully booked and highly popular visit last year.
Co-curated with the National Railway Museum and packed with hands-on exhibits and amazing stories, Inspiration reveals how railways transformed the world. It includes a fascinating look at railway firsts, engineering challenges and a whistle-stop tour of interesting, and lesser-known, careers on the railway.
This will be Inspiration's second and final stop in Blackpool as its tour ends in June, so don't miss out. More than 80,000 have already visited Inspiration on its 60-stop, year-long tour of Britain and nine in ten would recommend it to a friend. Inspiration is part of Railway 200, the national campaign celebrating two centuries of the modern railway.
Thousands of events across the UK and the world have celebrated a British innovation that revolutionised travel, supercharged economies and enabled mass tourism, sports leagues and the standardisation of time.
