Exhibition bringing together 50 objects from Lancashire's history, which were part of Lancashire in 50 objects project in 2024-5.
This project marks the 50th anniversary of the modern Lancashire County Council and the formation of Lancashire County Museum Service and Lancashire Record Office (Lancashire Archives).  The objects exhibited cover 9,000 years of history and span the whole county.  Together they tell the story of Lancashire, its settlers and invaders, its towns and industries, food and entertainment, countryside and seaside.
Highlights include the Bond minicar Mk A, a steam powered fish fryer, a television from 1953, a gunpowder plot letter and a witch charm.
