Families across Fylde can look forward to a fantastic year of outdoor adventures, as the Fylde Rangers bring back their much-loved Nature Tots programme for 2026 – and it’s better than ever!

From March through to October, young children will have the chance to explore some of Fylde’s most beautiful green spaces in a series of story-led sessions packed with hands-on activities, games and crafts. Each 90-minute session is carefully themed around an exciting tale, bringing the natural world to life in a way little ones will love. Venues include Hope Street Park, Ashton Gardens, St Annes Beach, Lowther Gardens, Green Drive and Kirkham, offering families the chance to discover their local area in a whole new way.

Led by the expert Fylde Rangers, the sessions run from 10am to 11:30am and cost just £2 per child, payable on the day – making it a brilliant, affordable way to spend quality time outdoors together.

Councillor Jayne Nixon, Lead Member for Tourism, Leisure and Culture, said: “Getting young people outdoors, exploring their local green spaces and connecting with the natural world from an early age is so important, and our Rangers do a fantastic job of making every Nature Tots session feel magical.

“At just £2 a child, we want as many Fylde families as possible to come along and enjoy everything our beautiful borough has to offer.”

Places must be booked in advance by emailing rangers@fylde.gov.uk. The sessions are expected to be popular, so families are encouraged to secure their spot early.
