The Chorley 10K and 2K Family Run event is set to return to the town centre on Sunday 3 May with hundreds already registered for this much-loved event organised by Chorley Council in conjunction with Fylde Coast Runners.
Sponsored by the Anderton Centre, part of the University of Greater Manchester group, the event, which has become a firm favourite for runners and families, starts and finishes in Chorley town centre taking runners through the picturesque Astley Park.
Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Peter Wilson said “Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running for a cause close to your heart, setting yourself a challenge, or want to have a great time running with friends or family, register now for the Chorley 10K or 2K Family Run at checkoutchorley.com/chorley10K and be part of the action.
“There’s always an amazing atmosphere on race day, so even if you’re not running, come down, support the competitors and enjoy the day.”

Dr Greg Walker, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Greater Manchester, said: “The University of Greater Manchester Group is delighted to support the Chorley 10k and 2k family fun run.
"The University Group is committed to promoting health and wellbeing through our fantastic outdoor activity charity, the Anderton Centre, based in Anderton, Chorley, which offers a wide variety of exciting activities for people of all ages to get involved in.”
