Festive Magic arrives at Shores Hey Farm as HAPPA Launches its Christmas Season

This Christmas, the Horses and Ponies Protection Association (HAPPA) is inviting families, supporters and the local community to celebrate the festive season at Shores Hey Farm with a packed programme of events and meaningful ways to give back. From wreath-making workshops and Santa experiences to festive pony sessions and seasonal treats in The HAPPA Café at HAPPA, there is something for everyone to enjoy throughout November and December.

Alongside the festivities, HAPPA is encouraging supporters to consider giving a life-changing gift this year by sponsoring one of the Charity’s rescued horses or ponies. Every sponsorship directly funds essential rehabilitation and lifelong care for equines who have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned. With beautifully presented sponsorship packs perfect for placing under the tree, it’s a heartfelt way to support HAPPA’s mission while giving a unique and meaningful Christmas gift.

Shores Hey Farm will be buzzing with festive magic throughout November and December, offering something for families, supporters, and horse lovers of all ages. Visitors can enjoy a warm welcome, delicious seasonal food from The HAPPA Café, and the chance to see the resident rescue horses who have been given a second chance thanks to public support.

• Christmas Wreath Making Workshops – Creative festive sessions perfect for crafting your own Christmas wreath under expert guidance.
• Festive Fayre – A magical day of festive stalls, seasonal shopping, activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

• Breakfast with Santa – A magical morning with Santa, breakfast, and festive activities for children.
• Own a Pony Days – An exciting experience giving young equestrians the chance to care for, learn about, and enjoy time with HAPPA’s ponies as if they were their own for the day.
• Festive Pony Grooming – Hands-on seasonal sessions where children can groom and pamper selected ponies.
• Christmas Café Specials – Winter warmers, themed treats and festive menus throughout December.
